2. Getting Started
Follow this quick guide to create your first Zplit and get collaborators paid.
Step 1 – Create your Zplit account
Sign up with your email and password.
Confirm your email address if prompted.
Step 2 – Connect your Stripe account
Connect an existing Stripe account or create a new one during onboarding.
Stripe handles verification (KYC/KYB) according to your country and business type.
Zplit never sees or stores your full card or bank details — those stay with Stripe.
Step 3 – Create your first split
Enter your client’s name and the total project amount (what the client will pay).
Add each collaborator and assign a percentage.
Make sure all percentages add up to 100%.
Tip: Many teams add 3–5% to the project total so Zplit’s 2% fee and Stripe’s processing fees are already covered by what the client pays.
Step 4 – Generate and share the payment link
Click Generate Zplit link to create a Stripe-hosted payment page.
Share the link by email, WhatsApp, your invoice, or your project tool — whatever you already use with clients.
Step 5 – Track payments and payouts
When the client pays, the split is applied automatically.
You’ll see the payment and each collaborator’s share reflected in your Zplit dashboard and in Stripe.
